Presenting...Princess Leia!!!

This was my first ebay doll.  And boy, she needed help.  Dressed in a green jumpsuit, with her hair in need of a good cleaning, and a lot of styling.  Plus she smelled like she had been living with a heavy smoker.  Oh, well, I like a good challenge.

First a good cleaning, and then I had to figure out the hair.  I discovered that a chenille wire with a rubber band allowed me to make "buns" like the ones she should have.  Then I made the white dress with the hood, and a belt out of grey plastic.  I show her here, both innocent, and heavily armed.
