Schwartz's exclusive slave Leia with R2D2. Also known as the "gold
bikini", this has to have been the most reveiling outfit ever put in a Star Wars
movie. And, boy did the actress have the body for it. What is really nice
about this doll is that they went to a lot of trouble to detail the waist, hips, and even
the belly button. If only the articulation was as good. Clearly, no one thought this
doll would do a lot of posing. I've always thought it interesting that Han, Leia's romantic partner, had the misfortune to be blind during this entire section of the film, and so never saw her in this getup. I wonder if she kept it around for her honeymoon. So, here is the outfit. One picture is where she seems to be getting a glass of something from R2, and the other where she is resting after a long day of slaving away for Jabba. Once again, I've added a background using the "blue screen" method.
